History of SNK consoles
In 1991, the SNK company, founded by a former Japanese boxer, launched the Neo Geo console on the market, to be able to enjoy the arcade experience at home, using the arcade boards that it already manufactured.
That has given their consoles a special aura, since they are the closest approach to the games that we could find in arcades.
In the 2000s, the Japanese company went through financial difficulties, ceasing its production of video game consoles.
